Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification & Experience
- All Candidates: Must be registered with MCI/NMC/SMC or hold a valid practitioner license enrolled in the State/National Register.
- GDMO: MBBS from a recognized University/Institute.
- Specialists: MBBS with PG Diploma OR PG Degree in the respective speciality.
- Super-Specialists: MBBS with DM/MCh/DNB/DrNB in the respective super speciality.
- Preference: Candidates with relevant work experience will be given preference.
Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 69 years as of the date of advertisement.
- Cut-off Date: 28/02/2026.
- Upper Limit: Consultants must be fit to perform duties and cannot engage beyond attaining the age of 70 years.
- Retired Candidates: Ex-employees of SAIL/PSUs/Govt. are eligible (must not have separated via Voluntary Retirement).

Other Benefits
- Accommodation: Company accommodation (subject to availability) may be provided to SAIL ex-employees and non-SAIL candidates (2 BHK category) on payment basis. No HRA is admissible.
- Mobile SIM: Post-paid SIM under CUG provided with monthly ceiling (₹350 to ₹650 depending on qualification).

- Leave: 10 days leave per year (subject to approval).
- Tenure: Initial engagement for 1 year (or until age 70), extendable up to 3 years maximum.
