Bombay High Court Invites Application for Hardware Engineer, Software Engineer Recruitment 2026

Candidates must apply online only through the official website of the Bombay High Court. Follow these steps to apply:

1. Visit the Official Website: Go to https://bombayhighcourt.gov.in and navigate to the recruitment section.
2. Select the Post: Choose the post ('Hardware Engineer' or 'Software Engineer') from the Post Drop-Box. For both posts, submit separate applications.
3. Fill the Application: Fill in the online application form carefully, as details cannot be modified after submission. Enter educational qualifications in the sequence: SSC, HSC, Graduation, Post Graduation, etc.
4. Upload Documents: Upload a recent passport-size photograph and signature in .jpg/.jpeg format (each file not exceeding 40 KB).
5. Pay the Fee: Pay the registration fee of ₹200/- (plus transaction charges) online through the 'State Bank Collect' payment link before 4 PM on 31st August 2026. Note the alphanumeric reference number generated after successful payment.
6. Submit and Note ID: After successful payment, complete the application submission. Note down the Registration ID number displayed and take a printout of the application for your records.

Important: Do not send a printout of the application or any documents at this stage. They will be required only at the time of the Viva-Voce.

• Online Application Only: Applications are accepted only online through the official website. No other mode is accepted.
• Separate Applications for Posts: If applying for both Hardware Engineer and Software Engineer, you must submit separate online applications with separate fee payments.
• Eligibility Check: Ensure you meet the specific educational qualification, three years of experience, and age criteria on the date of the advertisement (13th August 2026).
• Document Upload: Upload a clear passport-size photograph and signature in .jpg/.jpeg format, with each file not exceeding 40 KB.
• Application Fee: Pay the ₹200/- fee online through 'State Bank Collect' before 4 PM on 31st August 2026. The fee is non-refundable.
• No Document Submission Now: Do not send a printout of the application or any documents at this stage. They will be required only at the time of the Viva-Voce.
• Multiple Applications: In case of more than one application, the last application with successful fee payment will be considered.
• Government Employees: Must obtain a 'No Objection Certificate' (NOC) from the present employer and produce it at the time of document verification.
• Check Website: Regularly visit the official Bombay High Court website for updates on admit cards, exam schedules, and results. No individual intimation will be given.
• Admit Card: Download and print the admit card from the official website. It is mandatory to carry it along with a photo ID proof for all tests and the Viva-Voce.

• Select and Wait List: A Select List (3 candidates) and a Wait List (1 candidate) will be prepared for each post, valid for 2 years from the date of publication.
• Probation: Appointment will be on probation for a period of two (2) years.
• Transfer Policy: Candidates will not be eligible for transfer to any place before completing five years of service.
• Working Hours: Incumbents are ordinarily required to work from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and may need to work beyond these hours or on holidays as per requirement.
• Disqualification Criteria: Includes criminal conviction/pending prosecution, more than one spouse, more than two children (born after 28/03/2006), or being permanently debarred by any Service Commission.
