Educational Qualification: B.Tech/B.E, M.E/M.Tech
Subject: Engagement of Technical Consultant to provide technical support/advice to Tunnel Zone of Ministry of Road Transport and Highways. The Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, Government of India proposes to engage 2 number of Technical Consultants for a period of 2 years as detailed below:-
1. Name of the Post: Technical Consultant
2. No of Post: 02
3. Qualification: Graduate in Civil Engineering.
4. Experience:
a) Essential: Graduate in Civil Engineering 5 years' experience in planning/ designing/ construction/ maintenance and operation of Road/ Rail/ metro tunnel projects. OR Graduate in Civil Engineering and Post Graduate in Tunnel Engineering 3 years' experience in planning/ designing/ construction/ maintenance and operation of Road/ Rail/ metro tunnel projects. Good Knowledge of IRC Codes/Standard and Specification of Tunnel
b) Desirable: Experience in tunneling work with State or Central Government/ PSU/ Autonomous bodies. Post Graduation in Tunnel Engineering/ Engineering Geology/ Geotechnical engineering. Strong Communication Skills both oral & written.
5. Period of engagement: The initial period of engagement of Consultant(s) would be for a period of maximum 2 (two) years. After expiry of the initial term, engagement may be extended, based on requirement of Ministry and performance of Consultant(s) concerned, with the approval of competent authority, for a maximum period of one year beyond 2 years.
6. Emoluments: The maximum amount of monthly consolidated remuneration payable to the Consultants shall be Rs 1,42,500/-. Fee/Remuneration of consultant(s) will increase by 5% per annum.
Pay Scale: INR 142500(Per Month)
Age Limit: The maximum age limit for Consultant shall be 65 years as on the last date of submission of application.
Selection Procedure
All the applications received in response to the advertisements will be scrutinized and short-listed. Thereafter, shortlisted applicants will be selected by a Screening-cum-Selection Committee by taking an interview.
