Eligibility Criteria for BSI JRF Recruitment 2026

Educational Qualification

Essential: Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Botany from a UGC-recognized university with at least 55% aggregate marks at the time of application.

Desirable: Specialization in Plant Taxonomy or Plant Systematics, working knowledge of computers, analytical abilities, technical writing skills. Candidates who have qualified NET (CSIR-JRF) are exempted from the written examination.
