Online applications are invited from willing and eligible individuals for engagement as "Young Professional (Information Technology)" on fixed remuneration for a period of six(6) months, initially, from the date of engagement which may be extended or curtailed as per functional need.

B. Tech. in Information Technology/ Computer Science & Engineering OR MCA / M.Sc. (IT) / M.Sc. (Computer Science) from recognized University/ that their provided Institute corresponding degree level course is BCA, BSc(lT) / BSc (Computer Science
3. Desirable Educational Qualification: M. Tech in Information Technology/ Computer Science from recognized University/ Institute
4. Essential/ Minimum Required Work Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as System Administrator/Asst. System Administrator
5. Desirable Job Experience: Computer Hardware and Software Repair & Management, Networking, e-office Website Maintenance, experience, Audio Video editing / di ital creative content creation
6. Number of Vacancy : 01 (One)
7. Monthly consolidated remuneration: Rs.30,000/ - (Rupees thirty thousand) per month (fixed). No CPF/GPF etc. will be accumulated for the service rendered by the Young Professional (IT).
8. Job Profile:
i. To facilitate the Proper configuration of IT-Systems and its related infrastructure for smooth function of office
ii. To ensure for smooth function of Operating systems installation and configurations of Windows Desktop editions, Server editions, Linux Distributions, etc
iii. Provide end user support for all network, printer, workstation issues protection for all computers and servers
iv. Diagnosing and fixing Software/Hardware problems
v. Supporting Backups and Recovery Operations, Security implementation and analysis
vi. Operations and Maintenance of Social Media Sites, Websites, e-office/DSC/email etc
vii. Operations and Maintenance of various gadgets/equipments, editing works Performing duties under the IT-Cell of Brahmaputra Board for facilitating the Smooth Operation of IT systems in HQ office all field or offices of Brahmaputra Board.

The Brahmaputra Board, a statutory body was set up under an Act of Parliament called the Brahmaputra Board Act, (Act 46 of 1980) under the Ministry of Irrigation (Now renamed as Ministry of Jal Shakti). The jurisdiction of the Board includes both the Brahmaputra and Barak Valley and covers all the States of the North Eastern Region, Sikkim and part of West Bengal under Brahmaputra basin. The Board consists of 21 Members ( 4 full time Members and 17 part time Members), representing seven states of the North Eastern Region, North Eastern Council, concerned Ministries – Ministry of Jal Shakti, Agriculture, Finance, Power & Surface Transport - and Departments of the Government of India - Central Water Commission, Geological Survey of India, India Meteorological Department and the Central Electricity Authority.
Since creation of Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER) and inclusion of Sikkim and part of West Bengal within the jurisdiction of Brahmaputra Board, a representative of DoNER, the Secretary, WR & RDD, Government of Sikkim, the Secretary, Irrigation & Waterways (I&W) Department, West Bengal, the Chief Engineer, Brahmaputra & Barak Basin (B&BB),Central Water Commission, Shillong and Adviser, North East (NE), Planning Commission are invited as Special Invitees in Board meetings.
The Board started functioning with its Headquarters at Guwahati from 11th January 1982. As per sub-section (2) of section (3) of the Brahmaputra Board Rules, 1981.
