Eligibility Criteria for BCAS Deputation Recruitment 2026

1. Deputy Director (DD) & Deputy Director (Intelligence) [DD (Int.)]

• Pay Level: Level-11 in Pay Matrix.
• Eligibility: Holding analogous post on regular basis OR With 5 years' service in Level-10 (Rs. 56,100-1,77,500) or equivalent.
• Qualification: Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university.
• Experience:
  • For DD: 5 years' experience in Police/Security/Intelligence department of Govt. of India/State/UTs/PSUs/Autonomous Organization.
  • For DD (Int.): 5 years' working experience in intelligence and liaison work in the specified departments. Desirable: 2 years' experience in Intelligence matters in Aviation Security field.
• Deputation Tenure: 4 years.
• Maximum Age Limit: 56 years.

2. Assistant Director (AD)

• Pay Level: Level-10 in Pay Matrix.
• Eligibility: Holding analogous post on regular basis OR With 5 years' service in Level-10 or equivalent.
• Qualification: Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university.
• Experience: 3 years' experience in Police/Security/Intelligence department of Govt. of India/State/UTs/PSUs/Autonomous Organization.
• Deputation Tenure: 3 years.
• Maximum Age Limit: 52 years.

3. Law Officer

• Pay Level: Level-10 in Pay Matrix.
• Eligibility: Holding analogous post OR With 3 years' service in Level-7 OR With 2 years' service in Level-9 OR With 4 years' service in Level-8 or equivalent.
• Qualification: (i) Bachelor's Degree in Law from a recognized university.
• Experience: 3 years' regular experience of legal work. Desirable: At least 1 year of regular legal work experience should be in Aviation Security related matters.
• Deputation Tenure: 3 years.
• Maximum Age Limit: 56 years.

Deputation terms governed by DOPT OM dated 17.06.2010.

BCAS Salary & Pay Scale (7th CPC)

Selected candidates will receive remuneration as per the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) pay matrix:

• Deputy Director (DD & Int.): Pay Level-11, starting from Rs. 67,700 to Rs. 2,08,700 per month plus allowances as applicable.
• Assistant Director & Law Officer: Pay Level-10, starting from Rs. 56,100 to Rs. 1,77,500 per month plus allowances.
