Educational Qualification: B.Sc, M.Sc

Applications are invited for purely contractual engagement of the following temporary posts in the State Urban Development Agency (SUDA), Govt. of West Bengal funded research project entitled "Studies on population dynamics and insecticide susceptibility status of dengue vectors in Bidhan Nagar Municipal Corporation (BMC) areas, Kolkata, West Bengal" at School of Tropical Medicine, Kolkata. The duration of the project is one year.

3. Consolidate remuneration per month Rs. 30,000/-

4. Essential Qualification:1st class M. Sc. degree in Zoology or related discipline from any recognized university with 1 years of research experience. OR 2nd Class M. Sc. degree in Zoology or related discipline from a recognized university with 2 years of research experience

5. Desirable Qualification: Working experience in collection, identification, and laboratory maintenance of mosquito colonies. Working experience in molecular biological techniques like PCR, DNA sequencing, sequence analysis, and related works, etc Publications in related field in journals of national & international repute

6. Job Responsibilities: Survey of mosquito breeding sites and collection of adult and immature stages of mosquitoes from different sites of BMC and adjoining areas. Laboratory maintenance of mosquito colony To assist for molecular biological works Other relevant work assigned by the project investigators
