Note: The appointment is contractual under ICAR-funded scheme 5397-C(b) PB-184-ICAR and is temporary up to 31-03-2027. The maximum engagement period for YP-II is 3 years, whichever is earlier.

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Young Professional-II (YP-II): M.Sc. with 60% marks in Genetics and Plant Breeding or Agronomy, OR Graduate in Agricultural Sciences.
• Candidates with working experience in pulse crops will be given preference during selection.
• Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 45 years as on 22-10-2026. Age relaxation as per CCS HAU rules.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

Selection will be made solely through a Walk-In Interview scheduled on 22 October 2026 at 10:00 AM in the office of the Director of Research, CCS HAU, Hisar. Candidates must report with original certificates; certified true copies of all educational and experience documents must be submitted to the University at the time of the interview.

TA/DA Clause: No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview. However, once selected and joining duty, TA/DA will be payable equivalent to the entitlement of Grade-IV employees as per CCS HAU TA Rules of the University.

Other Conditions:

• The engagement is full-time; the YP-II will not be allowed to hold any other appointment or engage in outside work.
• The appointee will not be a regular employee of the University and will not be entitled to CPF/GPF or any other benefits.
• The selected candidate must report for duty within 15 days of issue of the appointment order.
• The selected candidate must execute an agreement on Non-Judicial Stamped Paper of Rs. 15/- before joining.
• The engagement can be ended by either party with one-month's notice or one month's emoluments in lieu thereof.
