The JRF post is under the Department of Agricultural Biotechnology, College of Biotechnology, CCS HAU, Hisar. The appointment is temporary, initially up to 31.03.2027, extendable up to the duration of the funded project.

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Biotechnology / Agricultural Biotechnology / Molecular Biology & Biotechnology / Bio-nanotechnology from a recognized university with NET qualification.
• Age Limit (as on last date of application): 35 years for male candidates; 40 years for female candidates.
• Medical Fitness: A medical fitness certificate from the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of CCS HAU will be required at the time of joining.
• Reporting Requirement: The candidate must report to duty within 10 days from the date of issue of the appointment order. Failure to do so will result in the offer being treated as withdrawn.

Terms of Engagement & Conditions

• This is a temporary, project-based post, initially up to 31.03.2027, extendable up to the duration of the project.
• Appointment is co-terminus with the project, whichever ends earlier.
• Services may be terminated without reason in case of non-release of funds by the funding agency.
• The appointee is not a regular employee of the University; no CPF/GPF or other benefits of regular employees are applicable.
• A service agreement on non-judicial stamp paper of Rs. 15/- must be executed before joining.
• Emoluments are subject to revision if allowed by the funding agency.
• No equivalent regular post in the University is guaranteed for such project staff after the project ends.
• TA/DA will be provided as per ANRF rules during the appointment period.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• Selection Method: Direct Interview on 20 November 2026 at 10:00 AM in the Office of Director of Research, CCS HAU, Hisar.
• No separate interview letters will be issued. Candidates must carry original certificates with one set of self-attested copies to the interview.
• Copies of research publications, if any, must be produced at the time of interview.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
• Incomplete applications received after the last date will be rejected without correspondence.
