Research Associate, Project Associate

Number of Vacancy: 03 Posts
Educational Qualification:
Research Associate-I: Ph D in bioinformatics, molecular biology, cell biology, biotechnology or relevant scientific discipline.
Project Associate-II: (i) Master's Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences / MVSc or bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent; and (ii) 2 years' experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services.
Project Associate-I: Master's Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences / MVSc or bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent Desirable Qualifications: Experience in next generation sequencing/microarray analysis and report making as well as development of pipelines for same OR Experience in cell culture/molecular biology techniques OR MSc Genetic Counseling.
Pay Scale:
INR
31000-47000/- Per Month
Age Limit: Maximum 40 Years.

The Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics (CDFD) is an autonomous organization funded by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. CDFD receives funding also from other agencies on specific collaborative projects. CDFD is recognized by Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Regional Centre for Biotechnology and University of Hyderabad for a Ph.D. programme in Life Sciences. The Centre is equipped with world class state-of-the-art instrumentation and computing infrastructure to facilitate research and development in frontier areas of modern biology.
