The Council conducting research activities in discipline of:Osteoarthritis/ Cervical Spondylosis / Osteoporosis / Bronchial Asthma / Psoriasis / Urolithiasis / Fibroid Uterus / Diabetes / Hyperlipidemia / Impaired Glucose Tolerance / Cardiac Risk Factor ,etc

Central Council for Research in Siddha was established in the year 1971. Siddha Central Research Institute is the centre of excellence for Clinical research and methodology. It is functioning under Central Council for Research in Siddha, Department of AYUSH. This Institute is located in chennai.
For the development of Siddha system of Medicine CCRS (Central Council for Research in Siddha) was formed with its headquarters in Chennai.
