About Central Government Health Scheme Pune
Central Government Health Scheme was introduced in Pune on 17th July 1978, for providing comprehensive medical care facilities for the Central Government Employees (Serving & Retired), family members and other entitled categories. C.G.H.S Pune currently has nine Wellness centers and one Polyclinic . All wellness centers provide Allopathic treatment.
There are two Homeopathy units attached to Wellness Centers No. 3 (Camp) and Wellness Center No. 5 (Boys Battalion) respectively. There is an Ayurvedic unit attached to Wellness Center No.7 (Mukund Nagar).
