Educational Qualification: B.Sc, M.Sc
The eligible candidates are invited to appear for Walk-in-Interview for the temporary (contractual) position of Young Professional-I (YP-I) (5 No.), Young Professional II (YP II) (3 No.) and Junior Research Fellow (1 No)
1. Position: Senior Research Fellow (One No) Under NePPA Project
2. Monthly stipend (Rs): Rs. 31,000/- Pay Plus HRA
3. Essential Qualification: MSc Agricultural Agronomy/MSc Botany. Specialization in Agronomy with NET qualification from ICAR/CSIR/UGC or equivalent
4. Desirable Qualification: Ph D in relevant subject with computer knowledge
5. Nature of work: Field and Lab oriented work
1. Position: Junior Research Fellow (One No) Under DSTSERB-(EMEQ) project
2. Monthly stipend (Rs): Rs. 31,000/- Pay Plus HRA
3. Essential Qualification: MSc Agricultural Entomology/Zoology. Specialization in Entomology with NET qualification from ICAR/CSIR/UGC or equivalent
4. Desirable Qualification: Ph D with experience in Mass culturing of insects
5. Nature of work: Survey, collection and establishment stem weevil and conducting behavioral assay under laboratory and field condition. If required, he/she should be ready to undertake outstation tours
1. Position: Young Professional-II (Three Nos.) Under Bt Cotton-Testing Fees project
2. Monthly stipend (Rs): Rs. 35,000/- Consolidated Pay per month
3. Essential Qualification: MSc Agriculture, MSc Botany and MSc Zoology with minimum two years in Agricultural Research
4. Desirable Qualification: Ph D in relevant subject
5. Nature of work: Field and Laboratory activities
1. Position: Young Professional-I (Five Nos.) Under Bt Cotton-Testing Fees project
2. Monthly stipend (Rs): Rs. 25,000/- Consolidated Pay per month
3. Essential Qualification: BSc Agriculture, BSc Botany and Btech Biotechnology with minimum two years in Agricultural Research
4. Desirable Qualification: MSc in relevant subject and Computer knowledge
5. Nature of work: Field and Laboratory activities

Selection Procedure
1. Only those candidates who fulfill the essential qualification and other eligibility criteria will be allowed to appear for the written test/personal interview
2. There will be a one hour written test on the date of Walk-in-Interview and those qualify in the written test will be called for personal Interview

1. Venue: ICAR-Central Institute for Cotton Research (ICAR), Regional Station, Maruthamalai Road, Coimbatore – 641 003, Tamil Nadu.
2. Reporting Time: 8.00 am – 9.30 a.m.
3. Written Exam/ Date of interview: 20.04.2022 (Fore Noon) - 22.04.2022 (Fore Noon)
4., The candidates are requested to download the application form from the Institute website www.cicr.org.in and should submit the completed application in all forms between 8.00 am and 9.30 am on the interview day
5. Incomplete application and application submitted after 9.30 am will not be considered for the written test/interview
6. All the applicants should bring the original certificates for verification in support of Age, Qualifications, Experience, Caste, Employment Exchange Registration Card and one set of Photocopy of the relevant documents.
