Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualification
- Essential:
- Bachelor's Degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science from a recognized University/Institute.
- 2 years of professional experience in a Library under Central/State Govt, Autonomous bodies, PSUs, or recognized Universities/Institutions.
- Desirable: Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized University/Institute.
2. Experience & Deputation Eligibility
Applicants must be officers from Central/State Govt, UTs, PSUs, recognized Universities, or Autonomous bodies possessing one of the following:
- Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre/department.
- With 6 years of regular service in Level 5 (Rs. 29,200-92,300) or equivalent.
- With 10 years of regular service in Level 4 (Rs. 25,500-81,100) / Level 3 (Rs. 21,700-69,100) / Level 2 (Rs. 19,900-63,200).
3. Age Limit & Relaxation
- Maximum Age: 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications (13 March 2026).
- Age Calculation: Age is calculated as of the closing date of application submission.
- Departmental Candidates: Departmental Library Clerks in Level 2 with 10 years of regular service and the requisite degree are also eligible.
Selection Process
