Project Title: Nutraceutical Profiling and Optimization of Rice-Based Low-Alcoholic Beverages from North East Regions of India.

Eligibility Criteria for ICAR-CIRCOT SRF 2026

Educational Qualification

• Essential: Master’s Degree in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or a related discipline. Candidates with a 3-year Bachelor’s degree must have NET qualification and 2 years of research experience (as per ICAR/DST guidelines).
• Desirable: PhD in Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Microbiology/Life Sciences with experience in molecular biology tools.

Age Limit

• Maximum 35 years for Male candidates.
• Maximum 40 years for Female candidates.
• Age relaxation as per Government of India rules: OBC – 3 years, SC/ST – 5 years, PH – 10 years.

Salary & Fellowship Details

Selected candidates will receive a consolidated fellowship as per DBT/ICAR norms:

• 1st & 2nd Year: Rs. 37,000/- per month + House Rent Allowance (HRA).
• 3rd Year: Rs. 42,000/- per month + HRA.
