Educational Qualification: Retired Staff
Applications are invited from retired employees of Government/CWC/ Railways and other PSUs (Preference will be given to retired employees from Indian Railways, Railway PSUs) to work as Advisor (Corporate Communication) on contractual basis in Central Railside Warehouse Company Limited, A Miniratna Category-II PSU under the aegis of Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, on a consolidated monthly remuneration. Details of vacancies are as below
1. Position: Advisor (Corporate Communication) at Corporate Office, New Delhi
2. No. of Post: 1
3. Experience: Applications will be considered who have fair working experience in Public Affairs & Policy Communications, Government Relations, Brand Communication & Image Management, Media Outreach, etc
4. Job Requirement:
a. Create and deliver press releases, media relations content, social media content, marketing and promotional materials, both print and electronic.
b. Conduct extensive Media Outreach Government Affairs and prepare briefing materials.
c. Designing and organising of media & public awareness campaign, etc.
e. Coordinating the communications output within a company.
f. Consensus Public View Development & Outcomes Planning.
g. Coordinate conference, trade shows and press interviews
h. identify, develop and execute communications strategy for key media contacts and customer references.
j. Coordinate with Ministry, Stakeholders, CWC, SWCs, etc.
k. Any other works to be assigned from time to time.
5. Required Level (as per IDA pay scales or CDA Level as per 7 th CPC pay scales) and Consolidated monthly remuneration: Retired from the scale of E-8 (120000-280000 IDA) & Level 14/10000 (CDA) and above. *Monthly Remuneration: 1,20,000/-

As part of its diversification activities, CWC developed a warehousing facility of Railway land along a Railway siding as a Pilot Project at Whitefield Goods Terminal at Bangalore after entering into an agreement with Indian Railway. This project started operation since February 2002 and resulted in attracting additional traffic to the Railways, improvement in customers service and an increase in the volumes of cargo handled by CWC.
Ministry of Railway also in the meantime had identified land near various Railway Terminals for the development of warehousing complexes with handling facilities in order to improve the utilization of the Railway facilities in the country and to give a boost to the transportation for meeting the logistics requirements of its customers with a view to improve the service.
Accordingly, a memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Railways and Central Warehousing Corporation was signed for the development of warehousing complexes by CWC near 22 railway terminals to provide better service through the total logistic solution to rail users.
To give a thrust to this line of activity it was decided to bring all the Railside Warehousing Complexes under the administrative control of a New Company which is to be a subsidiary company of CWC. Accordingly "Central Railside Warehouse Company Ltd" was established on 10th July 2007.
