Educational Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Orthopaedics from MCI recognised institute & university and minimum 3 years experience in the professional work related to concerned specialty after obtaining PG Degree. (Where suitable candidates with PG degree are not available PG Diploma Holder with 5 years experience in the professional work related to the concerned specialty after obtaining PG Diploma) Candidate should have experience in performing advance orthopaedic surgeries like Total Hip replacement (THR), Total Knee Replacement (TKR), Spine surgeries, Orthoscopic surgeries etc.

Age Limit: During first time engagement, the preferred age is between 30 years to 64 yearsUpper age limit of continued engagement is 65 years..
Selection Procedure
Candidates will be selected based on written test/personal interview/medical test/ walkin interview. Candidates will be shortlisted based on the given criteria.

2. Application made in A4 size paper mentioning personal details and educational qualifications along with copy of all relevant documents are to be sent by post or submit in person to Chief Medical Superintendent, Divisional Railway Hospital, Central Railway, Pune 411001.
3. Application should reach the office on or before 05.07.2022 04.00PM.
4. Applications received beyond the above date and time will be rejected.

The Central Railway is one of the largest of the 16 zones of Indian Railways. Its headquarters is in Mumbai at Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (formerly Victoria Terminus). It includes the first passenger railway line in India, which opened from Bombay to Thane on April 16, 1853.
Central Railway was carved out of erstwhile The Great Indian Peninsular (GIP) Railway on November 5, 1951.
