Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification

• Essential: Masters Degree or Integrated Masters in Transportation Engineering / Highway Engineering from a recognized university.
• Desirable: 1–2 years of experience in Transport Planning/Environment; knowledge of data analysis, statistical software, GIS, and simulation tools.

2. Age Limit

Cut-off Date: Age is calculated as of the date of the walk-in-interview (11-02-2026).

• Project Associate-II: Maximum 35 years
• Principal Project Associate: Maximum 40 years

Note: Age relaxation rules for SC/ST/OBC may be applicable as per Govt. of India norms.

3. Mandatory Requirements

• Candidates pursuing PhD or higher degrees must bring a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their institution.
• Engagement is purely temporary; no claim for permanent absorption is allowed.
• Cumulative engagement in CSIR projects cannot exceed 6 years.

Selection Process
