About Central Tool Room & Training Centre
Central Tool Room and Training Centre (CTTC) located in Bhubaneswar is an autonomous body under the Ministry of MSME, Government of India. The objective of the institute is to impart technical training for the skill development of technical staff & students belonging to the engineering field as well as to foster the progress of micro, small and medium enterprises in India.
In the present scenario of industrialization; particularly in the engineering field, requirements of specialized tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, moulds, gauges and other precision components are indispensable. Simultaneously demand for quality Tool makers, Tool & Product Designers, Skilled manufacturers, PLC & Industrial Automation engineers and Maintenance Engineers is also growing rapidly. Central Tool Room & Training Centre (CTTC), Bhubaneswar is one such training, production, design and consultancy centre established in a technical cooperation programme between Govt. of India & Govt. of Denmark to meet the above requirements. The excellent infrastructural facilities like land, buildings etc. have been contributed by Govt. of Orissa. Training activities started in 1991 and Tool production in 1995.
CTTC is unique in imparting industry-oriented long & short-term training programmes on CAD/CAM, Tool Design & Manufacturing, Tool & Die Making, CNC Programming & Machining, Machine Maintenance, CCNA, Industrial Automation, VLSI, Hardware & Networking Management, ITI (Machinist/Welder) etc. CTTC believes in PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT.
Central Tool Room & Training Centre (CTTC), Bhubaneswar is a body under the Ministry of MSME. CTTC started training activities in the year 1991 and Tool production in 1995. Services provided by CTTC are - Developing production facilities of molds, jigs, fixtures, gauges etc for Small Scale Industries, Conducting Long Term & Short Term Training programmes in the field of Tool making and other allied Engineering trades, Providing common facilities in precision machining and heat treatment, Providing consultancy facilities primarily for small scale industries in the field of Tool Engineering.
