Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Lab Assistant (1 Post):
  • Candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 55% marks in Microbiology or Life Sciences (with Zoology / Botany as subjects).
  • Desirable / Preference: Candidates with post-graduation in Life Sciences or Microbiology will be given preference.
• Age Limit: As per DBT / Government of India rules. Specific age relaxation criteria have not been separately stated in the notification.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• The selection will be based on a personal interview scheduled on 16 October 2026 at 10:00 AM at Room No. 323, Academic Block-1, Central University of Haryana, Jant-Pali, Mahendergarh, Haryana – 123031.
• Candidates must carry self-attested copies of all relevant documents and a passport-size photograph to the interview venue.
• No T.A./D.A. or any other allowances will be paid for attending the interview.
• The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the sanctioned project (approximately 2.5 years) or until the funding ceases, whichever is earlier.
• The position may be withdrawn at any time in case of misconduct, unsatisfactory research output, or if the applicant is found ineligible upon verification.
• The selected candidate must be willing to travel to Arunachal Pradesh on multiple occasions for sample collection and may need to work in the laboratory to complete assigned tasks.
• Rules and regulations of CUH and/or the funding agency (DBT) will be applicable to the selected candidate.
• Canvassing in any form will result in immediate disqualification.
