Educational Qualification: M.Sc
Applications are invited for a Junior Research Fellow under projects funded by Science and Engineering Research Board, DST, Govt. of India as per the details given below.
1. Position: Junior Research Fellow
2. Project title: Development of radiation resistant fiber reinforced tungsten nanocomposites for future fusion reactors
3. Project duration: 1 Year (Extendable to two more year, subject to review of the work done by the candidate)
4. Fellowship: 31,000+HRA (as sanctioned by funding agency)
5. Essential Qualifications: Post graduate degree in Physics/ Chemistry/Applied Chemistry/Material Sciences with minimum of 55% marks. Qualified GATE/NET/National level examination conducted central government.
6. Desired:
(a) Experience in executing and planning ion beam irradiation experiments
(b) Sound knowledge about plasma facing components in future fusion reactors and radiation damage in materials
(c) The candidate is expected to have some experience in research from National research laboratory
(d) Project related documentation work.
