invites applications for recruitment of Associate Professor

Number of Vacancy: 17 Posts
Educational Qualification:
i. A good academic record, with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines.
ii. A Master‘s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale, wherever the grading system is followed).
Experience: A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and / or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/industry with a minimum of seven publications in the peerreviewed / UGC CARE list journals and a total research score of Seventy five (75) as per the criteria given in Appendix II, Table 2.
Pay Scale:
INR
131400-217100/- Per Month
Age Limit: As Per Rules.
Application Fee: Rs.1000/- for General and OBC candidates and No Fee for SC, ST, PH and Women candidates. The payment shall be Payment Gateway given in the online application Portal.

The President of India gave assent to The Central Universities Act, 2009 that envisages establishing and incorporating universities for teaching and research in the various states.
The Central University of Jharkhand came into being under this Act on 1st of March, 2009. The Visitor of the Central University of Jharkhand, Her Excellency, Shrimati Pratibha Devisingh Patil, appointed Dr. Darlando T. Khathing, an internationally renowned scientist and a distinguished academic administrator, as its first Vice Chancellor.
CUJ’s focus will be on research in cutting-edge technologies.
