Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the SERB funded project entitled “Total Synthesis of Illudalane Class of Natural Products Possessing Antifungal Antibacterial and Cytotoxic Properties” (File No. CRG/2021/001422) in the group of Dr. Raj Bahadur Singh, Department of Chemistry, Central University of Jharkhand.

1. Job Title: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

2. Eligibility Criteria: The candidate should have a M.Sc. degree in chemistry with GATE, NET or NET (JRF) in chemical Sciences. Knowledge of synthetic organic chemistry is preferred.

3. Tenure: This position is temporary (initially for one year). The tenure may be extended for additional two year (or until the end of the project, whichever is earlier) based on satisfactory performance.

4. Fellowship: For the first two years Rs 31,000/- per month. For third year Rs.35,000/-per month

Selection Procedure

The applications will be shortlisted based on academic credentials. Shortlisted candidates will be requested to appear for an online/offline interview in the month of March 2022. The exact date of interview will be communicated to the shortlisted candidates only.
