Recruitment Overview

The Central University of Punjab (CUP), Bathinda, has released a recruitment notice (Advt. No. CUPB/25-26/014) inviting online applications for various posts on a purely temporary and contract basis. Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Contractual Faculty (Pharmacology/Pharmacognosy):
  • Essential: Basic degree in Pharmacy, Registration as a Pharmacist under Pharmacy Act, 1948, First Class Master’s Degree in appropriate branch of specialization in Pharmacy.
  • Desirable: Teaching, research, industrial experience; papers presented at Conferences/refereed journals.
• Guest Faculty (Physical Education): As per NCTE Regulations, 2014.
• Part-time Faculty (Mechanical Engineering): As per AICTE Regulations.

Age Limit

Upper age limit will be counted as on the date of Interview. Specific age limits are not mentioned in the notification; eligibility will be decided at the time of interview.

Mandatory Requirements

• For Contractual Faculty: Registration as a Pharmacist is mandatory.
• For all posts: Candidates must bring original documents and self-attested photocopies at the time of interview.
• PPT Presentation: Candidates must prepare a 10-minute PPT in English/Hindi on their knowledge domain and contributions to the university.

Age Relaxation

Reservations/relaxations for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PWD/EWS candidates will be provided as per existing Govt. of India/UGC rules. OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) and EWS certificates should be issued on or after 01.04.2025.
