Educational Qualification: M.Sc
Applications are invited for the position of Project Assistant (PA) to work in the Department of Biotechnology (DBT) sponsored research project entitled "Bio-degradable nanofiber encapsulated biofertilizer to enhance phosphorous and other micronutrient uptake in rice" sanctioned to the undersigned at the Department of Chemistry, Central University of Tamil Nadu, Thiruvarur.
1. Name of the Post: Project Assistant
2. No. of Posts: One
3. Fellowship per month: Rs.20,000 + 1,600 (8% HRA)
4. Tenure: Two Years
5. Essential Qualifications: MSc or Integrated MSc degree with a minimum of 55% marks in Chemistry/ Organic Chemistry/ Inorganic Chemistry or equivalent degree from a recognized University/Institute.
6. Desirable Qualifications: Research experience in the area of nanomaterials/biodegradable nanofibers/nanocarriers synthesis and characterization/bioinorganic chemistry.
7. Preference: Preference will be given to candidates who have cleared NET/GATE/DST-INSPIRE or equivalent examinations. Final-year MSc/Integrated MSc students who have qualified the above-mentioned NET exams are also eligible to apply.
8. Selected candidates based on performance may be encouraged to register for PhD as per the Central University of Tamil Nadu norms.
