Educational Qualification: M.Sc
Applications are invited for the position of Project Associate-I (One number) on contract basis to work in a time bound SERB-DST sponsored research project (CRG/2021/007158) sanctioned to the undersigned at the Department of Horticulture, Central University of Tamil Nadu.
1. Title of the Project: Uncovering the role of abscission-specific SAUR genes in tomato abscission regulation
2. Post Name: Project Associate-I
3. No. of Post: 01
4. Emoluments 31,000 + 8 % HRA = Rs 33,480 / Month
5. Educational Qualifications MSc in Agriculture/ Horticulture and allied disciplines, MSc in Biotechnology with minimum 55% marks
6. Duration of Project 1 year, extendable annually till the completion of the project period (3 years), subject to satisfactory performance. From the start of third year the emoluments will be Rs 37,800 / Month

Selection Procedure
1. After the scrutiny of the application form, the selected candidates would be called for an online interview with the selection committee of the university
2. The decision of the selection committee is final.
