Sub : Establishment - Chennai Marine Organization - Reg. Custom House- Recruitment in the Customs 1. Post Name: Sukhani (Group-C) 2. No of Post: 01 3. Pay Scale: Pay Band: Pay Level 4 (Rs- 25500- 81100/-) with Grade Pay of Rs. 2400/- 4. Essential: (i) Eighth Standard pass. (ii) 7 years service on sea going vessel with 2 yrs experience in independent handling of mechanized craft fitted with auxiliary sails. 5. Desirable: (a) Certificate of competency for inland Master Second class or (b) Certificate of Service. (c) Matriculation or equivalent.
Pay Scale: INR 25500 - 81100(Per Month)
Age Limit: 30 Years
Selection Procedure
1. The selection process shall consist of a Written Exam on General Knowledge and Technical questions relating to the post.
2. The candidate qualified in the written examination will be called for interview. The date Of the written examination, interview and the result of the selection process will be available in Intranet and https://chennaicustoms.gov.in/.
3. The examination will be conducted only in Chennai and candidates have to make their own arrangements for attending the examination. NO TA/DA will be paid by the department.

1. A separate application form should be submitted for each post. The envelope (28 Cms. x 13 Cms.) containing the application must be super-scribed in bold letters as APPLICATION FOR MARINE WING POSTS and also indicates the Post applied for and Category at the left side corner of the envelope.
2. Application as below in legal size paper along with relevant attested Photocopies of educational qualifications, proof of age, category, essential & desirable certificates etc. Wherever necessary and four unsigned passport size photographs and two self-addressed unstamped envelopes of 25 Cms. X 12 Cms. are to be sent by Ordinary Post Or Speed Post Addressed To The Joint Commissioner Of Customs (PV) Commissionerate General Office Of The Commissioner Of Customs Custom House, No. 60, Rajaji Salai, Chennai - 600 001
3. The format Of the application is also available at https://chennaicustorns.gov.in/.
4. Closing date for receipt Of Application Forms: The application forms complete in every respect must reach on or before 31-12.2021.
5. Applications received after the closing date or incomplete in any respect shall be rejected and no in respect of the rejected application forms shall be entertained. This office shall not be responsible for any postal delays.
6. This office reserves the right to cancel the recruitment at any stage without assigning any reason whatsoever.
7. The selected candidates are liable to be posted anywhere in the jurisdiction Of the Chief Commissioner Of Customs Zone, Chennai.
