Educational Qualification: Any Graduate

CMI is hiring for the post of Personnel Manager (PM) who will supervise all contract services and also manage guest house and hostel accommodation.

a) Name of the Post: Personnel Manager (PM)

b) Compensation: Competitive with industry standards.

c) Qualifications

1. Degree in a discipline related to hospitality management or human resource management.

2. 2+ years experience of similar work/ hospitality sector.

3. Proficient in all Office applications.

4. Excellent organizational and time management skills.

5. Effective communication skills.

6. Experience of interacting with a student community is a plus. 

d) The duties of the PM are following

1. To interact/ coordinate/ deal with all contract service providers on CMI’s behalf

2. Manage and conduct the tendering process.

3. Work in consultation with the CMI infrastructure committee and the hostel committee.

4. To supervise and monitor the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping team. Coordinate with their team lead for smooth operations.

5. Oversee work of all contract services - housekeeping, catering, security, gardening and transport.

6. Daily supervision of campus.

7. Purchase, re-order and maintain housekeeping supplies and inventory.

8. To conduct inspections of all offices, lecture halls, common areas, hostel rooms, guest rooms, roofs, dining areas, kitchen etc.

9. To ensure the proper maintenance of all equipment and to coordinate with the Facilities Manager for repair and/or replacement of used and damaged equipment.

10. Managing guest house reservations, accommodations, room maintenance and related aspects.

11. Hostel management - room allotment and related aspects.
