Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Qualification: Postgraduate degree (second class) in the relevant subject from a recognised university, along with a B.Ed. degree.
• Accepted Subjects: Hindi, English, Sanskrit (or Classics/Acharya), Physics (or Electronics/Applied Physics/Nuclear Physics), Political Science (or Public Administration), History (or Ancient Indian History), Geography, Economics (or Applied Economics/Business Economics).
• Age Limit: Minimum 21 years, maximum 35 years as on 1 January 2026. Relaxations for SC/ST/OBC, women, PwD, government servants, and others as per notification.
• Other Conditions: Must hold Chhattisgarh local resident certificate. Can apply for only one subject. Employed candidates need No Objection Certificate.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

Selection is based on a written recruitment exam (LSL26) conducted by CGSSB. The exam pattern includes 100 objective-type questions, 1 mark each, with negative marking of 1/4 mark for wrong answers. Duration is 2 hours (10:00 AM to 12:15 PM).
