Applications are hereby invited from eligible candidates through online/offline mode for hiring of technical manpower [Junior Research Fellow: 01 Position and Technical assistant: 01 position] on purely contract basis for engagement in research and extension activity for the project entitled “Vision guided AI enabled Robotic Apple Harvester” under the “National Programme on Electronics and ICT Applications in Agriculture and Environment (AgriEnics) funded by Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, New Delhi.

1. Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

2. Vacancy Position: 01

3. Remuneration: Rs. 31,000/- + HRA

4. Educational Qualifications:

a. Master degree in Agricultural Structures and Process Engineering/ Agricultural Process Engineering/ Food Process Engineering/ Robotics/ Electronic and telecommunication Engineering/ Computer Application /Information Technology /Computer Science/Artificial Intelligence with 4 years/ 5 years bachelor’s degree.

b. Valid NET (ICAR/UGC/CSIR)/GATE is essential

5. Desirable: Experience related to application of artificial intelligence (AI)/development of AI models, image processing, machine vision, automation, instrumentation, programming and sensor technology, publishedresearch papers in relevant field will be preferred.

3. Remuneration: Rs. 20,000/- + HRA

4. Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor’ Degree in Agricultural sciences/ Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Information Technology / Computer Applications / Electronics & Communication / Mechanical Engineering - Electrical engg. Or B.Sc./3 years diploma in Engineering and technology

5. Desirable: Experience related to instrumentation, programming and sensor technology, will be preferred.
