Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility for Faculty for Tool Design
- Essential Qualification: B.E/B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech./PGTD/PGTD&CC with relevant Tool Design experience.
- Experience: Should have expertise in imparting technical training in the field of Tool Design subjects like Metrology, Gauges, Press Tools, Plastic Moulds, Die Casting Dies, Jigs & Fixtures (both theory & practicum) for at least 05 years. Should have expertise in guiding students to execute their projects.
- Age Limit: Preferred age is Below 35 years.
Important Instructions
- Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria may step-in for walk-in interview on the dates mentioned against each position with latest Resume with photo, original documents & one set self-attested photocopies of all educational, experience certificates and proof of last pay drawn.
- Registration Time: 09:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
- N.B.: No applicants will be entertained after 12:00 p.m.
- Candidates who have already attended interview in the last six months are not eligible to attend this walk-in.

Central Institute of Tool Design(CITD) established in 1968 by the Govt. of India with the assistance of UNDP and ILO, is a pioneering Institution in the field of Tool Engineering in the Country. The Institute was initially established as an United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Project and was executed by International Labour Organisation (ILO).
The Precision machinery and equipment was donated by UNDP and the faculty were trained abroad in the area of Tool Engineering. The UNDP Experts stayed at CITD for about 5 years and trained officers, faculty & staff of CITD in manufacture and design of tooling. The main objectives of the institute are:
Training of the technical personnel in Designing & Manufacture of Tools, Dies & Moulds.
Design & Manufacture of dies, jigs, fixtures and guages, etc.
Provision of advisory services to Small Scale Units including assistance in design and developing tools for various processes.
Recommending measures to standardise components for dies, jigs and other tools.
