Coal India Limited (A Maharatna Company) is pursuing the Roadmap for SD: Energy Efficiency for FY 2021-23in CIL &Subsidiary companies which is being monitored at the highest level at Ministry of Coal. Coal India Ltd. invites application for engagement of one (01) full-time Advisor (Energy Efficiency) from retired executives of E&M Discipline in E8/E9 grade from CIL and its subsidiaries, PSUs/autonomous organization of Central/State Government on contractual basis for a period of one(01) year (Extendable as per the requirement). VRS optees will not be considered. 1. Post Name: Advisor 2. No. of Post: 01 3. Educational qualification: Degree in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering 4. Experience: A minimum of 10 years of compounded experience in dealing with Energy efficiency-related assignments in Subsidiary Headquarter/Corporate Office including Area/Project, with a coal mining CPSU/PSU, is mandatory 5. Remuneration and other Benefits: Compensation/ Honorarium (Rs./ month) Rs. 1,20,000/- to Rs. 1,05,000/- 6. Nature of work: To provide advisory support on policy-related matters related to Energy efficiency initiatives. To advice on strengthening and re-structuring the existing monitoring mechanisms for flagging of issues/ critical areas related to energy efficiency matters. Handholding to subsidiaries of CIL in expediting energy efficiency initiatives. Contributing in overcoming major constraints& bottlenecks faced by Subsidiary company to follow the Roadmap for SD: Energy Efficiency for FY 2021-23. Capacity building of executives dealing with Energy Efficiency matters. Other Energy efficiency related matters, as assigned by competent authority.
Pay Scale:
INR
105000 - 120000(Per Month)
Age Limit: Not more than 65 years during the contract period.

Coal India Limited (CIL) the state-owned coal mining corporate came into being in November 1975. With a modest production of 79 Million Tonnes (MTs) at the year of its inception CIL, today is the single largest coal producer in the world and one of the largest corporate employer with manpower of 2,59,016 (as of 1st April 2021). CIL functions through its subsidiaries in 85 mining areas spread over eight (8) states of India. Coal India Limited has 345 mines (as on 1st April, 2021) of which 151 are underground, 172 open cast and 22 mixed mines. CIL is presently operating 13 coal washeries, with a total washing capacity of 35.38 MTY (Out of these, 11 are coking coal washeries and balance 2 are non-coking) and also manages other establishments like workshops, hospitals, and so on. CIL has 20 training Institutes and 86 Vocational Training Centres. Indian Institute of Coal Management (IICM) as a state-of-the-art Management Training ‘Centre of Excellence’ – the largest Corporate Training Institute in India - operates under CIL and conducts multi-disciplinary programmes.
