Educational Qualification: Senior Ship Draftsman (Mechanical): Three year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a State Board of Technical Education securing minimum of 60% of marks. Minimum two years post qualification experience/ training as Ship Draftsman or Draftsman in a Shipyard or Engineering Company or Ship Design Company or Establishment or Government Company or Establishment or Semi Government Company or Establishment. Junior Technical Assistant (Mechanical): Three year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a State Board of Technical Education securing minimum of 60% of marks. Minimum four years post qualification experience relating to works involving installation & commissioning of mechanical systems in a Shipyard or Engineering Company or Government Company or Establishment or Semi Government Company or Establishment. Laboratory Assistant (Mechanical): Three year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgical Engineering, from a State Board of Technical Education securing minimum of 60% of marks. Minimum four years post qualification experience in Mechanical Testing, Metallography, Radiography, Ultrasonic Testing in any NABL accredited Laboratory. Store Keeper: Graduate with Post Graduate Diploma in Materials Management OR Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical). Experience: Minimum four years post qualification experience in storekeeping in a Shipyard or Engineering Company or Government Company or Establishment or Semi Government Company or Establishment. Junior Commercial Assistant: Three year Diploma in Commercial Practice from a State Board of Technical Education securing minimum of 60% of marks. Minimum four years post qualification experience in matters relating to Office work, Updating ERP System, Man hour Booking, Data entry, Record and Report Generation, maintenance of files, registers and records in a Shipyard or Engineering Company or Commercial Organisation or Government Company or Establishment or Semi Government Company or Establishment. Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree in Arts (other than Fine Arts/ Performing Arts) or Science or Commerce or Computer Applications or Business Administration, with minimum 60% of marks from a recognized University. Minimum four years post qualification experience in matters relating to Office work, Updating ERP System, Man hour Booking, Data entry, Record and Report Generation, maintenance of files, registers and records in a Shipyard or Engineering Company or Commercial Organization or Government Company or Establishment or Semi Government Company or Establishment. Welder Cum Fitter (Welder/Welder (Gas & Electric): Pass in SSLC, ITI (National Trade Certificate) and All India National Trade Test (National Apprenticeship Certificate) in the trade of Welder / Welder (Gas & Electric). Minimum five years post qualification experience in the areas of Gas cutting and welding (gas and electric, manual, automatic, MIG/ semi-automatic special welding), gouging, gas and electric brazing, flame heating, chipping and grinding, staging and handling in a Shipyard or Engineering Company or Government Company or Establishment or Semi-Government Company or Establishment. Fitter (Electrical): Pass in SSLC, ITI (National Trade Certificate) and All India National Trade Test (National Apprenticeship Certificate) in the trade of Electrician. Minimum five years post qualification experience as Mechanic or Electrician looking after the operation of Substation, installation of HT/LT switchgears, transformers, maintenance of electrical equipments in a Ship Building Company or Ship Repair company or Engineering Company or Electricity generation/transmission/ Distribution company. Fitter (Electronics): Pass in SSLC, ITI (National Trade Certificate) and All India National Trade Test (National Apprenticeship Certificate) in the trade of Electronic Mechanic. Minimum five years post qualification experience in the repair and maintenance of electronic control circuits of industrial equipments in a Shipyard or Engineering Company or Manufacturing Company of electronic goods or Government Company or Establishment or Semi-Government Company or Establishment.

Pay Scale: INR 37105-38585/- Per Month
Age Limit: not exceed 35 years as on 06 June 2022.
Application Fees: Application fee of Rs.400/- (Non-refundable, plus bank charges extra) should be remitted using the Online payment options (Debit card/Credit card/Internet Banking/Wallets/ UPI etc) which can be accessed through our Online application facility from 14 May 2022 to 06 June 2022. No other mode of payment shall be accepted. Applicants belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ Person with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) need not pay application fee.Selection Procedure
Candidates will be selected based on written test/personal interview/medical test/ walkin interview. Candidates will be shortlisted based on the given criteria.How to Apply:
(i) Applicants should go to the website www.cochinshipyard.in (Career page-CSL,Kochi) and proceed to the link for online application. The application consists of two phases - Registration and Submission of application. Applicants should not submit more than one application to the same post. Application once submitted shall be final. (ii) Applicants meeting the notified requirements may go through the instructions on the online application page, complete the Registration and submit their application online through the online application facility from 14 May 2022 and the facility can be accessed through our website www.cochinshipyard.in (Career page-CSL,Kochi). Application submitted direct or by any other mode shall not be accepted. (iii) Applicants should ensure that all the entries in the online application have been correctly filled in and application submitted successfully. Change in the data provided in the application after final submission of the same through online will not be considered. Filling of garbage/junk details in any of the fields can lead to rejection of application. (iv) Application must be complete in all respects as per this Advertisement Notification. Please note that incomplete applications shall not be considered. (v) After applying through online, applicants should retain a soft copy/ printout of the online application containing the unique registration number generated by the system for their reference. It is important to note that, the unique registration number shall be obtained only upon successful submission of online application. The Registration Number on the online application should be quoted for any correspondence with CSL. (vi) Applicants need not send the online application print out/ certificates/ application fee in the form of DD/Challan/Cheque by post to CSL. (vii) The website will remain functional for the purpose of submitting applications from 14 May 2022 and the last date for submission of applications through online is 06 June 2022. In order to avoid heavy traffic in website on the last date that may result in non-submission of application, candidates are advised to log in to CSL website and submit applications well in advance before the last date. Those who apply on the last date of application may not get any troubleshooting assistance / technical support in the online application portal by email/phone after 1600 hrs on the last date.
