- Essential: Three year Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery.
- Experience: Four years of experience as Nurse in a Hospital or Nursing Home or Primary Health Centre or First Aid Centre in a Factory.
- Age Limit: Maximum 40 years as on 14 January 2026.
Eligibility for Nurse (Female) on contract basis for CSL
- Essential: Three year Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery.

Salary/Stipend
The remuneration for the Nurse posts is on a consolidated basis per month as under:
- First year: ₹ 23,300/- plus compensation for extra hours (₹ 5,830/-)
- Second year: ₹ 24,000/- plus compensation for extra hours (₹ 6,000/-)
- Third year: ₹ 24,800/- plus compensation for extra hours (₹ 6,200/-)

Selection Process
Candidates will be selected based on the following stages:
- Objective Type Test: 30 MCQs, 35 minutes, No negative marking.
- Practical Test: 70 Marks.
- Document Verification.
- Medical Examination.
Minimum Qualifying Marks: 50% for Unreserved posts and 40% for PwBD candidates.

Cochin Shipyard, established in 1972, is a fully owned Government of India enterprise and a forerunner in the Indian shipbuilding and ship repair industry. This strategic Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) plays a vital role in national maritime development and defense preparedness, offering substantial government jobs and public sector careers for skilled professionals across India.
Recognized as the premier facility capable of building and repairing the largest vessels in the country, the yard boasts impressive infrastructure. It constructs ships up to 1,10,000 DWT and repairs vessels up to 1,25,000 DWT.
