Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Clerical Assistant

  • Essential Qualification: Degree from a recognised University/Institution.
  • Experience: Must be a Retired Employee from Central/State Govt Departments, PSUs, Autonomous Bodies, or Commodity Boards with considerable experience in attending clerical works. Must have working experience in using Computers with MS Office/Open Office, Email & Internet.
  • Age Limit: Below 64 years as of the last date of receiving applications.
  • Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills.


Terms & Conditions / Remuneration

  • The remuneration payable would be Rs. 25,000/- (Fixed) per month.
  • The engagement will be initially for one year, extendable to one more year based on performance.
  • The total monthly remuneration plus Pension shall not exceed the Last Pay Drawn by the employee.
  • No TA/DA will be given for attending the interview or joining.
  • Candidates shall continue to draw their pension during the period of engagement.


How to Apply

Eligible retired employees should submit their applications in the prescribed format (Annexure-II) along with relevant documents. The application must be sent in two ways:

  1. Email: Send a single PDF attachment to [email protected] on or before 03.02.2026. The PDF should contain: Annexure-II, Educational qualifications, ID proof, Experience certificates, Pension Payment Order, and relevant documents.
  2. Hard Copy: Submit the hard copy of the application to the Secretary, Spices Board, Kochi to reach on or before 09.02.2026.
