Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL), a 50:50 Joint Venture of Government of India and Government of Kerala, intends to appoint a General Manager (Operations & Maintenance) E8 Grade on regular/deputation basis or on Re-employment basis as Chief Operations & Maintenance Manager. The primary responsibility will be looking after the Operations & Maintenance functions of KMRL.

Educational Qualification & Experience:B.E./B.Tech in any branch of Engineering from an AICTE/UGC recognized University/Institute. For deputation/re-employment, serving or retired officers from Indian Railways (IRSSE/IRSEE/IRSME/IRTS/IRSE) or equivalent levels in Rail PSUs/Metro Rail Corporations are also eligible. Extensive experience in Operations, Construction, and Maintenance of Railway/Metro systems is required.
Skills:Operations management, maintenance of engineering systems (Signalling, Telecom, Rolling Stock, Traction), project management, planning, procurement, contract management, leadership, and decision-making.
Salary (per month):
- Regular Post GM (O&M): ₹1,20,000 – 2,80,000 (IDA) - E8
- Deputation: As per deputation terms & conditions
- Re-employment: Chief Operations & Maintenance Manager: ₹1,70,000/- per month (consolidated); Additional Chief Operations & Maintenance Manager: ₹1,46,000/- per month (consolidated)
