Educational Qualification: MFSc

Applications in prescribed proforma are invited for the engagement of following positions for Experimental Fish Farm, Champawat as per details mentioned below.

1. Position: Young Professional II

2. No of Post: 01

3. Essential Qualification: Post Graduation in Fisheries Economics/ Agriculture Economics.

4. Desirable:

(i) Experience in water quality analysis, Fish and Plankton sampling

(ii) Good knowledge in taxonomy and biology of fishes

(iii) The candidate must be willing to travel frequently in high altitude areas of Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jummu & Kashmir and North East India.

(iv) Excellent computer documentation and analytical skills

(v) Candidates with ICAR/CSIR /UGC NET will be given preference.

5. Emoluments: Rs.35000/- per month fixed

6. Duration of project: Initially for 01 year

Selection Procedure

1. Only shortlisted candidates shall be called for interview. Minimum of five valid applications would be required after short listing of candidates for organising an interview for each position. Date of interview shall be communicated to shortlisted candidates in due course.

2. 2 Marks for each year/ each higher degree/ paper presentation in international conference/ symposium. One marks for each relevant technical course of more than three months / training course of more than five days/ paper presentation in national workshop/ symposium - Max.- 10.

3. 2 Marks of each recognition/award / merit/ publications in NAAS rated or UGC listed journals. One mark for each boo chapter/ popular article abstract- Max. -10.

4. Evaluation (in 30 marks) by each member of the selection committee except member secretary. Average of the marks allotted by all the members- Max. 30.

5. Minimum qualifying marks- 50.
