Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Junior Clerk/Cashier

• Essential Qualification: SSLC or equivalent qualification and Subordinate Personnel Co-operative Training Course (Junior Diploma in Co-operation - JDC).
• Equivalent Qualification (Kasaragod District only): GDC/DCM from Karnataka State Co-operative Federation is considered equivalent to JDC for appointments within Kasaragod district.
• Alternative Qualifications (if applicable):
  • B.Com degree with Co-operation as an elective.
  • Any degree from a recognized university along with Higher Diploma in Co-operation (HDC or HDC & BM from Kerala State Co-operative Union, or HDC/HDCM from the National Council for Co-operative Training).
  • B.Sc (Co-operation & Banking) from Kerala Agricultural University.
• Important Note: Candidates must possess the required educational qualifications before the last date of application (16-01-2026).

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 40 years (as of 01/01/2025)
• Age Relaxations:
  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC, Ex-servicemen, and EWS: 3 years
  • Differently-abled: 10 years
  • Widows: 5 years

Salary / Scale of Pay

The selected candidates will receive a salary in the scale of Rs. 17,590 - 43,450.

Selection Process

The selection process for Junior Clerk/Cashier includes:

• OMR Examination: Consists of 100 questions (1 mark each).
• Interview: Maximum of 20 marks. Candidates attending the interview must receive a minimum of 4 marks; the remaining 16 marks are based on performance.

Application Fee

• General/OBC/EWS: Rs. 150 for one Society/Bank + Rs. 50 for each additional Society/Bank.
• SC/ST: Rs. 50 for one Society/Bank + Rs. 50 for each additional Society/Bank.
• An additional 18% GST applies to the fee.
