Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Junior Clerk

  • Essential Qualification:
    • SSLC or equivalent qualification.
    • Subordinate Personal Co-operative Training Course (Junior Diploma in Co-operation - JDC).
  • Alternative Qualifications:
    • B.Com with Co-operation as an optional subject.
    • Any degree from a recognized university PLUS a Higher Diploma in Co-operation (HDC/HDC&BM from Kerala State Co-operative Union, or HDC/HDCM from National Council for Co-operative Training).
    • B.Sc (Co-operation & Banking) from Kerala Agricultural University.
    • Note: Candidates from Kasaragod district may use GDC/DCM from Karnataka State Co-operative Federation as an equivalent qualification.
  • Age Limit: 18 to 40 years as of January 1, 2025.
  • Age Relaxations:
    • SC/ST: 5 years
    • OBC, Ex-servicemen, EWS: 3 years
    • PwD (40% or more): 10 years
    • Widows: 5 years


Salary/Stipend

Selected candidates will receive a salary in the scale of Rs. 17,590 – 45,570.

Selection Process

The selection process involves:

  1. OMR-based Examination: Consists of 100 questions, each carrying 1 mark.
  2. Interview: Maximum of 20 marks. Candidates attending the interview are guaranteed a minimum of 4 marks, with the remaining 16 marks based on performance.
  3. Rank List: A rank list will be prepared based on the examination and interview scores.

Exam Center: The examination center will be located in Malappuram district only.

Application Fees: Candidates must pay 18% GST as per government order.

  • SC/ST: Rs. 50 for the first society/bank and Rs. 50 for each subsequent society/bank.
