Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Senior PAT

• Essential Qualification:
  
  Option 1: BE/B.Tech in Aerospace/ Electronics / Electronics and Communication Engineering / Instrumentation/ Control system or Equivalent; AND Three Years experience in Research and development in industrial and academic institutions or science and technology organizations.
  
  Option 2: Masters/Integrated Masters in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University AND Two Years experience in Research and development.
  
  Option 3: Doctoral degree in science/engineering/technology from a recognized university AND Two Years experience in Research and development.
• Experience: Refer to Essential Qualification above (2 to 3 years required depending on qualification).
• Age Limit: Upper age limit 40 years (as on 21-01-2026). Age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST/PwBD/Woman, 3 years for OBC candidates.

Selection Process

The performance of the candidates will be reviewed at regular intervals. If a large number of candidates apply, the Selection/Screening Committee may shortlist candidates based on a written exam, marks percentage, desirable qualification/experience, or higher qualification. A list of selected candidates and a waiting panel (valid for one year) will be displayed on the website.
