Educational Qualification & Experience:Candidates must be currently enrolled in the specified semesters of B.Tech, M.Tech, or M.Sc. in the relevant disciplines. No prior experience is required.
Skills:For Engg. roles: Python programming, image processing, 3D designing. For Physics: Knowledge of Optics and Quantum Mechanics.
Age Limit:Below 28 years.
Stipend (per month):
₹5,000 per month. Paid in two installments of ₹15,000 each after 3 and 6 months. Applicable only for full 6-month tenure with minimum 15 days of attendance per month.
Selection Procedure:
- Shortlisting: Based on CGPA/Percentage of all previous semesters/years.
- Assessment: Offline examination, telephonic interview, or in-person interaction as required.
- Document Verification: Satisfactory verification of original documents.

Important: Keep a copy of the submitted application for future reference. Incomplete or applications received after the due date will be rejected.
Important Terms & Conditions
- Internship Duration: 06 months (from 1st September 2026 to 28th February 2027).
- Completion Certificate: Issued only upon successful completion of the full 6-month tenure.
- No Employment Guarantee: Completion of the internship does not guarantee employment at DRDO.
- No Boarding/Lodging: No accommodation or lodging expenses are provided. Interns must arrange their own stay.
- Security Obligations: Interns must adhere to the Indian Official Secrets Act, 1923, and DRDO's IT rules and regulations.
- Documents at Joining: NOC from college, Police Verification, Medical Fitness Certificate, Undertakings, Aadhaar Card, and passport-size photographs.

- Eligibility: This internship is for current students in the specified semesters. Graduated candidates are not eligible.
