Post-Wise Vacancy & Pay Scale

Pay values are 7th CPC starting basic pay. DA, HRA and other Delhi Government allowances are paid additionally. DC = District & Sessions Courts; FC = Family Courts.

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

Candidates must be Indian citizens. Educational qualification is determined as on the closing date, 4 November 2026.

• Senior Personal Assistant (Post Code 805/26): Graduate degree from a recognised university + Shorthand speed of 110 words per minute + Typing speed of 40 words per minute on computer.
• Personal Assistant (Post Code 805/26): Graduate degree from a recognised university + Shorthand speed of 100 words per minute + Typing speed of 40 words per minute on computer + Computer knowledge.
• Junior Judicial Assistant (JJA) (Post Code 806/26): Graduate degree from a recognised university + Typing speed of 40 words per minute on computer.
• Process Server (Post Code 807/26): Matriculation / Higher Secondary from a recognised board + Valid LMV Driving Licence + 2 years of unblemished driving experience on official letterhead.
• Peon / Orderly / Dak Peon (Post Code 808/26): Matriculation (10th pass) from a recognised board.

Experience Note: No prior experience is required for any post except the 2 years of driving experience for the Process Server position.

Age Limit & Relaxation

General Age Limit: 18 to 27 years as on 1 June 2026. Candidates must be born not earlier than 2 June 1999 and not later than 1 June 2008. Date of birth is accepted only from the 10th (Matriculation) certificate.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

1. Written Examination (Objective type / Multiple Choice Questions) covering General Awareness, Numerical Ability, Reasoning, English Language and relevant post-specific subjects.
2. Skill Test (Shorthand / Typing) — applicable to Senior Personal Assistant, Personal Assistant and Junior Judicial Assistant posts.
3. Document Verification — original documents and certificates are verified at this stage.
4. Medical Examination — conducted where applicable as per Delhi District Courts rules.

Important Notes: The detailed exam pattern and syllabus will be notified on the DSSSB website dsssb.delhi.gov.in and the Delhi District Courts website. No TA/DA will be paid to candidates appearing for the examination.
