Educational Qualification: MBBS
Subject:- Engagement of Contractual Medical Consultant in Department of Telecommunications on part time basis with fixed remunerations. Applications are invited from MBBS and higher qualified Doctors for a Medical Practioner (Allopathy stream) required on part time (contractual) basis in Department of Telecommunications, Sanchar Bhawan as under:-
1. Position: Medical Consultant
2. No of Post: 1
3. Remuneration offered p.m: Rs. 60,000/- (Rupees Sixty Thousand only) (all inclusive)
4. Eligibility:
a) The applicant should possess an MBBS degree of any university recognised by. the Medical Council of India.
b) The doctor should have a valid registration with Medical Council of India(MCI/DMC)
c) The applicant should have a minimum of 05 years' experience in practicing medicine in any hospital or clinic (preferabaly CGHS or any other government hospital)

Age Limit: Maximum upper age limit for the retired Doctor will be 67 years as on 23.05 2022.
Selection Procedure
1. The department will be conducting an interview for the shortlisted candidates whenever required. The department reserves the right to raise the minimum eligibility standards in order to limit the number of candidates to be called for interview. The decision of the department in this regard will be final. Mere fulfilling of the eligibility criteria does not entitle the candidate to be called for the interview.
2. Applicant shortlisted after the interview will be subjected to medical examination and other document verification process before engagement as department's consultant. Engagement of selected candidate will be subject to fitness and verification of testimonials.
3. Candidate selected for the post will be appointed subject to acceptance of Terms and Conditions of the Contract.
