Eligibility (Deputation) Officers from Central/State Governments, Union Territories, Autonomous/Statutory Bodies, PSUs, Universities, or Recognized Research Institutions.
Service Requirement Holding analogous posts on a regular basis OR with six years of regular service in Level 5 (₹29,200-92,300) or equivalent.
Educational Qualification Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology in Electrical, Electronics, Electrical Communications, Electronics Communications, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Information Technology, or Instrumentation from a recognized University/Institute. OR Sections A and B of the Institution of Engineers (India), Graduate Membership Examination of the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (India), or Associate Membership Examination of the Aeronautical Society of India (enrolled up to 31.05.2013).
Age Limit (as on closing date) Maximum 56 years.

Educational Qualification:Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology in relevant fields (Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, IT, Instrumentation) from a recognized University/Institute. Specific professional qualifications from recognized institutions are also accepted.

Job Profile: Duties may be assigned in any of the following areas:

  • Service Compliance: CAF audit, EMR audit, Service Testing, Roll out obligation.
  • Technology: Secured dedicated telecom network, Time synchronization, Disaster Technology management, Interconnect Exchanges, Inspection of licensed network, PMWANI.
  • Security: Operation & maintenance of CMS/IMS, curbing illegal activities, analysis of CDR/SDR.
  • Rural: Rural connectivity for DBT, verification of USO sites, RF coverage testing, Telecom connectivity checking.
  • Admin: Legal, PG & Vigilance, Admin, DDO works, Personnel grievances, Building, Court cases.

Skills:Telecommunications engineering, network management, security operations, rural connectivity, administration, and regulatory compliance.
