Department of Telecommunications Invites Application for Consultant Recruitment 2022

Subject: Engagement of Consultant (Technical) on a purely temporary and on contract basis in the O/o Advisor, AP LSA, Hyderabad- Reg.

O/o Advisor, AP Licensed Service Area (LSA), Hyderabad, Department of Telecommunication, Ministry of Communications proposes to engage Consultant Technical on a purely temporary and on contract basis for a period of six months or till regular manpower is posted, whichever is earlier:

1. Position: Consultant

2. Nature of Duties:

a. Service Compliance- CAF Audit, EMR Audit, Service Testing, Roll out obligation, etc. Technology- Secured dedicated communication network, Time Synchronization of Telecom Networks, Disaster Technology Management, interconnect Exchange,

b. Inspections of Licensee Network, Advocacy & Public Awareness, etc. Security-Operation and Maintenance of CMS/ IMS, Curbing illegal activities/ Control over clandestine/illegal operation of telecom networks, Analysis of CDR/SDR, and other security activities assigned from time to time.

c. Rural- Rural connectivity for DBT, verification of USOF sites, RF coverage testing/ telecom connectivity checking, etc. Admin, Legal, PG & Vigilance- Admin, PG, Building, Vigilance. Court case & Misc, Admin activities, etc.

3. Period of Engagement: The initial contract would be for a period of six months extendable further up to a maximum of 6(six) terms of 6(six) months each or up to 65 years of age whichever is earlier depending on his/her performance.

4. Eligibility:

For consultant in Technical Level-only retired from CDA Scale with a substantive grade of Level8 or 7 of the 7th CPC or equivalent IDA Scale or holding analogous post need to apply. Preference will be given to retired applicants with desired experience in DoT BSNL/MTNL. However, BSNL/MTNL retires under VRS-2019 shall not be considered for engagement of consultants in accordance with DoT order No. 1- 50(1/2018-E&C-Part(1), dated 14.6.202 1.

5. Remuneration per month:

A fixed monthly amount shall be admissible, arrived at by deducting the basic pension from the pay drawn at the time of retirement. remuneration so fixed shall remain unchanged for the term of the contract. There will be no annual increment/percentage increase during the contract. No increment and Dearness Allowance shall be allowed during the term of the The amount of contract.

Selection Procedure

A selection panel shall be constituted for this purpose and it will be valid for a period of 6 months. The decision of the department in the matter of selection of consultants shall be final and binding.
