Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

Only currently serving regular officers of the Odisha Government are eligible for these deputation posts. The eligibility criteria are as follows:

Instructress (3 Posts – SIWC Bhubaneswar)

  • Candidate must be a regular CDPO (Child Development Project Officer) with a minimum of 5 years of service as CDPO.
  • Post-Graduation in any one of the following disciplines: Nutrition, Home Science, Child Development, Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, or Extension Education.
  • Desirable: B.Ed. qualification.

Assistant Instructress (10 Posts – SIWC Bhubaneswar & SIWC Barpali)

  • Candidate must be a regular Supervisor (ICDS) with a minimum of 5 years of service as Supervisor.
  • Post-Graduation in any one of the following disciplines: Nutrition, Home Science, Child Development, Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, or Extension Education.
  • Desirable: B.Ed. qualification.

Selection Process

The selection for these deputation posts follows a multi-stage process prescribed by the department:

  1. Scrutiny and Shortlisting: All applications received within the due date will be scrutinised and shortlisted as per the prescribed Selection Procedure and Guidelines.
  2. Mock Lecture: Shortlisted candidates must deliver a mock lecture before the Selection Committee constituted by the Women & Child Development Department. The date, time, venue, and topic will be communicated separately by the department.
  3. Overall Assessment: The Selection Committee will conduct an overall assessment of each candidate for final selection and posting.

Important: No TA/DA (Travel Allowance / Daily Allowance) will be admissible for appearing in the mock lecture.
