About Dhule Municipal Corporation
Dhule is the administrative headquarters of Dhule district and North Maharashtra. The city was planned by Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya. 3 important national highways NH-3, NH-6 and NH-211 pass through this city. National Highway-3 with modern facilities between Dhule and Nashik has been given permission by the central government to convert from existing four-lane to six-lane.
Dhule has a national airport at Gondur. It is connected to a railway junction. Dhule city is famous for the fifth Shakti Peeth Adishakti Ekvira Devi.Rajwade Research Center is a famous museum in Dhule.This museum was established in the year 1932 which has a large collection of objects collected by the famous historian VK Rajwade.
