Applications are invited from eligible female candidates for the post of one JRF in SERB funded project titled “Preclinical assessment of combination treatment with specialized pro-resolving lipid mediators (SPMs) and established plant-derived anti-oxidant compounds in alleviating severe inflammation” under the supervision of Dr. Shantanabha Das, Department of Zoology. 1. Post Name: Junior Research Fellow 2. Duration of Project: 2 years 3. Fellowship: Rs. 31,000/- p.m + H. R. A. 4. Minimum eligibility: M.Sc. (55%), Qualified in NET/ GATE/ equivalent 5. Research area: This project aims to assess whether the different plant-derived anti-inflammatory compounds have any influence on the synthesis of different SPMs 6. Also, we intend to formulate combination therapy utilizing SPMs and phytochemicals for the treatment of inflammatory conditions. Efficacy and underlying immunology related to such combination therapy will be studied in this project. 7. No.: DHWU/REG/52/2022

The Diamond Harbour Women’s University has launched its first academic session in July 2014 with the introduction of 2-yrs, 4-semester PG courses in six subjects; Bengali, English, History, Political Science, Education and Women’s Studies.
