Kerala University of Digital Sciences, Innovation and Technology invite applications from qualified Indian Citizens for appointment to the following post (on a contract basis) for the University. Candidates shall apply online through the Recruitment Portal. The guidelines for the submission of applications are available in the recruitment portal. KUDSIT/59/Ad.A1/2021 1. Position: Software Engineer (Moodle) 2. No of post: 01 3. Remuneration: Rs. 30,000- 35,000/- (Consolidated) 4. Essential Educational Qualification: MTech/BTech/BE in Computer Science / IT / Electronics Or MCA or MSc in Computer Science / IT / Electronics from a recognized University / Institution. 5. Essential Experience: Minimum 2 years of Experience in MOODLE installation, configurations and customizations, and developing web applications using MVC framework with PHP or Java in a reputed Institution. 6. Required Skills: Installation, configurations and customizations of MOODLE, PHP/Java, Javascript, JQuery/Angular, HTML, CSS, Postgresql/MySQL/MSSQL 7. Nature of Appointment: On contract initially for 1 year.
Pay Scale:
INR
30000 - 35000(Per Month)
Age Limit: Should not exceed 40 Years as on the last date for submission of application.

Selection Will be Based either Written Exam/Interview
How to Apply:

II. The application fee for the posts shall be Rs. 200 /- (Fee will be exempted for SC/ST/Differently-abled Candidate). The mode of payment is available in the recruitment portal.
III. The applications received after the last date fixed or the incomplete applications or the applications without filling the relevant field will be summarily rejected.
IV. No interim queries after the submission of the application will be entertained. The candidates will be intimated the schedule of the Test/ Interview through their registered email only.
V. The candidates are advised to check their registered e-mails regularly after the last date fixed for the submission of the application.
VI. The University has the right to cancel the advertisement or entire selection process at any stage without assigning reason thereof and the decision of the University shall be final.

India is an emerging global player in the Information Technology sector and has grown steadily since the 1990s, the requirement of manpower also increased. Education and information technology training are important prerequisites for the purpose of expanding the manpower for various sectors of the knowledge economy. To address the challenges faced by the Indian Industry, the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India made a scheme to establish the Indian Institute of Information Technology across India. Starting with four IIITs directly under MHRD in 1997 and 2000, the scheme is extended to 25 IIITs on a Not-for-Profit Public-Private Partnership (N-PPP) basis. To contribute significantly to the global competitiveness of key sectors of the Indian economy and industry, MHRD was also approved to set up IIITs at the State level and Kerala is also one among others started in the year 2000.
