Eligibility Criteria
1. Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
- Educational Qualification: B.Tech degree in First Division (60% or equivalent) in relevant engineering discipline. A valid GATE score in the respective engineering stream is mandatory.
- Age Limit: Maximum 28 years.
- Age as on: Age is calculated as of the walk-in interview date (24.02.2026).
2. Research Associate (RA)
- Educational Qualification: M.Tech degree in First Division at both Graduate (B.Tech) and Post-Graduate (M.Tech) levels in relevant discipline.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of research, teaching, or design & development experience after M.Tech completion.
- Publication: At least one research paper published in an SCI (Science Citation Index) journal.
- Age Limit: Maximum 35 years.
- Age as on: Age is calculated as of the walk-in interview date (24.02.2026).
Age Relaxation
Age relaxation is available for SC, ST & OBC candidates as per Government of India orders.
Selection Process
Since this is a walk-in interview, there is no written exam. The selection process involves:
- Reporting: Candidates must report by 08:45 AM on 24.02.2026 at DIHAR Base Station, Chandigarh.
- Screening: Initial screening based on educational qualifications and eligibility criteria (at the venue).
- Interview: Shortlisted candidates will face an interview on the same day.
- Final Merit: Selection is based on interview performance and qualifications, following DRDO guidelines.
- Benefits: No TA/DA will be provided for interview attendance or joining.
